Distance Education Student Support
Multimedia Services
Tennessee State University provides an array of faculty support services to further integrate the use of technology in the curriculum. As part of a joint collaboration between the Center for Extended Education Office of Distance Education and Multimedia Services, CIT (Communication Information Technologies), the Media Centers, and Title III programs, the Center for Teaching Learning and Technology (CTLT) offers faculty support in the following areas:
- instructional design / course development assistance;
- digital content creation assistance (including course videotaping, editing, and media transfer);
- access to the Faculty Development Multimedia Authoring Lab;
- one-on-one consultations; and
- a series of workshops on topics including, Microsoft Office, eLearn / Brightspace (Desire2Learn), Zoom Web-Conferencing, and Multimedia Development.
