Where should I apply?
Once you have identified programs/schools of interest, answer the following to determine which you will apply:
- The Professors - Reputation and research conducted in the area. How close is it to your goal/interest
- Money – How can I pay for school?
- Campus Resources/Student Services –
- The campus facilities (labs/classroom/equipment )
- Technology
- Library and journals published by the university/professors
- Housing availability
- Application requirements for entrance
- How do the graduates do on professional exams
- What percentage of graduates of the program get jobs
- Students perspective (What is their success rate following their degree? Are students getting jobs, research opportunities, or acceptance into doctoral, professional or post doctoral programs?)
- Evaluate class offerings and availability
- Location’s cost of living

How to Apply?
The application process for graduate and/professional school is based on THAT school and THAT program requirements. Deadline dates, required assessments may change with each program. Always check with the universities you are applying with in order to determine their specific application requirements and deadlines for application!
Common components of the Graduate or Professional School Application:
- Undergraduate/College Transcript(s)
- GRE or other standardized test scores (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, DAT, MCAT, PCAT).

- Personal statement and/or admissions essay(s)
