NESInternship and Co-op Positions

The employees of NASHVILLE ELECTRIC SERVICE are the key to our success! We depend on a talented, diverse and dedicated workforce to deliver energy to over 355,000 customers, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our intern/co-op program is designed to provide opportunity for professional development through practical work experience in conjunction with academics.    

NES offers a variety of intern/co-op opportunities in the fall, winter/spring, and summer sessions for undergraduate students, as well as flexible start and end dates. The starting rate of pay is $13.25 per hour.

NES may provide intern/co-op opportunities in the following areas:
- Engineering
- Operations
- Finance
- Human Resources

Eligibility
-
Must be enrolled in an accredited institution and completed at least one year towards a bachelor’s degree.

Internship/Co-op Availability
-
The number of internships/co-op filled each year will depend on the needs of NES.
