Questions you should ask yourself before deciding on graduate school?

1)What are my career goals?

  • Will graduate school benefit me in my career goals?
  • Is it necessary or can I look into building other skills (such as certifications and/or experience). Learn as much as possible about what it will take to succeed in the field you have chosen

2)Am I motivated for another two to seven years of school?

3)Do I have the academic and personal qualities to succeed?

4)Am I taking coursework to strengthen my application? (for example, physics may not be a requirement, but is the course considered necessary for the graduate program of interest?)
