MISSION: The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs leads comprehensive and selective undergraduate and graduate programs that engage students in a world class education built on values and excellence. Through a collaborative model of innovative instruction, learning, public service, and research, students are prepared to enter the workforce as professionals and citizens. Our Office is committed to providing effective services across campus for faculty, staff, and students that enhance academic quality, student success, and associated support services.

The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs oversees all academic programs and academic support units at Tennessee State University. Aligned with the University mission and core values, our framework for TSU’s future academic plans is contained in the 2008-2028 Academic Master Plan: Envisioning the Future Through the Lens of Our Heritage



Our Programs

Tennessee State University offers:
