Recruiting and hiring at Tennessee State University is accomplished through the TSU Online Employment Application System (People Admin). This system automates many of the paper-driven aspects of the employment process. The system is designed to benefit the supervisor by facilitating:

  • Faster processing of employment information.
  • Up-to-date access to information regarding all Requisitions.
  • More detailed screening of Applicants’ qualifications – before they reach the interview stage.



The Recruitment and Hiring process consists of several steps.

  1. Posting a Vacant Position
  2. Reviewing and Selecting a Candidate
  3. Submitting a Hiring Proposal
