Alternate Housing Options

Off-Campus Accommodation-Academic Year

At this time, Tennessee State University does not require its students to live on campus at any point of their academic career. In recent years, the University has consistently reached capacity of its on-campus facilities, forcing students who have delayed in submitting their housing application and deposits to reside elsewhere.

If you find yourself applying late or wish to find off-campus accommodation, the Department of Residence Life recommends the following websites:

Please utilize the following zip codes for available leases and rentals closest to the TSU Campus
The zip code 37209 for TSU Main Campus
The zip code 37203 for TSU’s Avon Williams Campus.
