Message from the Dean

Dear Returning Student:

On behalf of the faculty of the College of Engineering at Tennessee State University (TSU), we hope you had a successful and productive Academic Year 2021-2022. Despite the challenges the university faced adjusting to Covid-19, we hope you were able to achieve your academic goals for the past year, and are eager to return to complete your degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or in Technology.

As you well know, the employment demand for graduates in our college are STRONG, and will continue for the next decade. Therefore, your pursuit of your degree is important as you prepare for a career in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), and is well worth the “time, effort, and discipline” to complete your respective program.

As Dean, I want to strongly encourage you to stay resilient and continue your studies by registering for the Summer 2022, and 2022-2023 term. Every effort will be made by the university to assist you with the continuation of your education. However, you MUST register to become eligible for available scholarships and other financial resources.

I encourage you to make the most of your summer months through employment and/or taking courses, and be ready to continue your studies for Academic Year 2022-23. Please visit the below link to initiate your registration, and we look forward to seeing you on campus in the Summer 2022, and Academic Year 2022-2023.
