Millingo (Venge) Nkosi is an Adjunct Professor in the Economics and Finance Department of the Tennessee State University. Since 2017, he has taught undergraduate students, on as needed basis, in the areas of Principles of Microeconomics/Macroeconomics, Introduction to Statistics and Quantitative Analysis since January 2017. He holds a Master of Science degree in Energy Economics and Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining the TSU faculty, Professor Nkosi devoted much of his career working in the public service championing economic development-related activities. He worked for the Government of Malawi and later the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Malawi Mission as an Economist. He also served as Project Manager for Renewable Energy entrusted with the responsibility of promoting the adoption and utilization of renewable energy technologies in Malawi. Before re-locating to the US in mid-2015, he worked with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Malawi Country Office backstopping Malawi's Public Service Reforms and Citizen Engagement Program. Professor Nkosi also has extensive experience in strategy development as well as program/project design. His interest is to share his vast hands-on-experience with students. |
