M.S. in Agricultural Business and Leadership

The Master of Science in Agricultural Business and Leadership degree program in the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is designed to prepare our students for careers in agricultural business and leadership to meet the growing demand for such professionals in agricultural business, private industries, academia, and government sectors. 

The M.S. degree in Agricultural Business and Leadership is offered with two concentrations: a) Agribusiness Management, and b) Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication (ALEC). The M.S. degree in Agricultural Business and Leadership requires 33 credit hours for the thesis option and 35 credit hours for the non-thesis option. 

The degree includes a core (12 credit hours for thesis option, 11 credit hours for non-thesis option), concentration elective (minimum of 12 credit hours for thesis option, minimum of 15 credit hours for non-thesis) and other elective (maximum of 6 or 9 credit hours for thesis option and 9 credit hours for non-thesis option) courses.
