Join the Air Force ROTC!

TSU & Non-TSU Students

How do I join Detachment 790 of AFROTC?

Students do not have to attend TSU to become a cadet at Detachment 790. See the list of schools and registration information below. Call 615-963-5931 to find out more about how you become an officer in the world's greatest Air Force and Space Force!

NOTE: AFROTC requires 3 years to complete. You must maintain full-time student status (12 credit hours undergraduate or 9 credit hours graduate) during those 3 years. The only exception which a student may drop below full-time status in their final semester prior to graduation. AFROTC courses count toward the credit hour requirement. Freshman and Sophomore lectures are 1 credit hour per semester. Junior and Senior lectures are 3 credit hours per semester. Lab is 1 credit hour for all students each semester.
