Stephen Campbell Ph.D. CPA (CA) has taught accounting for more than five years in three different modalities: online, hybrid, and on-campus, to which he has brought his over five years of public accounting experience. His work experience includes tax compliance and consulting services for multinational clients. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Tennessee State University. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting of Taxation at the University of Mannheim for the academic years 2018 – 2022. Professor Campbell's primary research interest is taxation. His research has been presented at numerous conferences, including the AAA Western Region Meeting, the MaTax Conference, the Hawaii Accounting Research Conference, the American Taxation Association Midyear Meeting, the EIASM Conference on Current Research in Taxation, and the American Accounting Association Annual Meeting. He received the Most Outstanding Teaching Assistant – Merage School Health Care Executive Class of 2018, Doctoral Consortium Fellow at the 2017 AAA Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Consortium, and UCI Doctoral Program Excellence in Teaching Award 2014. He is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Accounting Association and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
