Speech and Hearing Science

The Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology is in the College of Health Sciences (COHS). The Department serves two Deans: The Dean of the College of Health Sciences and the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

About the Master of Science Program - Traditional Mode

The Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology offers one degree program: the Master of Science (MS) in Speech and Hearing Science via two delivery modes: the traditional/on-campus mode and the distance education mode.

Students are admitted to the MS program for either the traditional mode or the distance education mode. Switching modes of delivery is prohibited. Space is limited to approximately 20- 25 students for the traditional mode and 30 students for the distance mode; therefore, admission is competitive.

The traditional education component of the MS program is a five semester, full-time track.
