Bio: Dr. Marida Pace-Newbern is a Registered Nurse with over 19 years of experience specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Nursery. Her combination of clinical education and teaching experience provides a strong academic foundation for the kind of holistic approach that she feels is critical for nursing students to succeed in their future professional endeavors. Furthermore, she strongly believes in cultural and ethnic diversity in nursing so that nurses truly reflect the diverse populations they serve. Her scholarly focus is on identifying strategies that impact nursing school success for ethnic minorities and socio-disadvantaged nursing students.
