PSparks
Ms Sparks comes from Dearborn, Michigan. She holds Master and
Bachelor Degrees in Music Performance from the University of
Michigan and a second Masters Degree in Harp Performance from
Belmont University. A former member of the famous Mantovani
Orchestra. Ms Sparks has worked as both a solo artist and
accompanist for notable artists Josh Groban, Natalie Cole, Ray
Charles, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, CeCe Winans, Donna
Summer, Dennis DeYoung, Bernadette Peters, Trey Anastasio and
Kip Winger, to name a few. Her 10 solo harp recordings have
received airplay on radio stations around the world. She currently
records with the Nashville String Machine, Carl Gorodetsky,
contractor.

Ms Sparks performs on numerous studio recordings, movie
soundtracks and concert performances for gospel, pop, and
classical artists. Her TPAC performances with Broadway touring
companies include The My Fair Lady, The Producers, Camelot,
Dream, The King & I, South Pacific, and 2 seasons of Christmas
Carol starring Jamie Farr. Ms. Sparks played with the Nashville
Symphony on their East Coast Carnegie Hall Tour under Kenneth
Schermerhorn and the Amy Grant Christmas Tour.
Ms Sparks is currently the Harp and Proficiency Piano Instructor at
Tennessee State University and Nashville Community College.
Orchestral credentials include the Nashville Chamber Orchestra,
Nashville, Knoxville, Evansville, Owensboro, Chattanooga, and
Memphis Symphonies,

Ms Sparks is Past President of the
Nashville Harp Society and Southern Regional Director of the
American Harp Society. Currently Ms Sparks is on the President’s
Council at Purdue University working with Purdue’s K-9 Cancer
Research Department.
