After receiving his Ph.D. in economics Dr. Perry has served in a variety of academic teaching and administrative positions. He served as the Director of Research for the Tennessee Department of Revenue where he also coordinated the centralization of tax systems into an integrated database. He a served as Interim Director of Academic Computing, Interim Head of the Accounting Department and Head of the Economics and Finance Department. His current teaching interest is introductory macroeconomics, microeconomics and current economic problems.
