How to Set Your Browser's Homepage to TSU
Chrome
- Open Chrome
- Click the customize icon that looks like three vertical dots in the upper right corner
- Click “Settings”
- Scroll to bottom and look for the “On startup” section
- Select “Open a specific page or set of pages”
- Select “Set pages” or “Add a new page”
- Type in the URL of the Page you want to open at startup. In this case, of course, it’s “https://www.tnstate.edu”
Firefox
- On Mozilla Firefox
- Press the “Alt” key on your keyboard and while holding it, press “T” on your keyboard
- Select “Options” on the menu that appears.
- In the section “General”, look for “Home page”. Insert the URL of a website into the “Home page” field. In this case, of course, it’s “https://www.tnstate.edu”
- Then, look for the section “When Firefox starts” and click the button for “Show your home page”
Internet Explorer
- Open Internet Explorer,
- Select the Tools button (which looks like a round gear) , and select Internet options.
- On the General tab, under Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. Of course, in this case, it’s: “https://www.tnstate.edu”
- Select Apply, and then select OK. The next time you open a new browsing session or window (or select the Home button ), your home pages will be loaded automatically.
