Welcome to TSU's Benefits
Tennessee State University offers a well-rounded benefits package for employees and their families.
INSTRUCTIONS
- As a new hire, you must complete and submit your benefits enrollment forms within 31 days of your hire date.
- If you are newly eligible for benefits, you must submit your benefits enrollment forms within 31 days of your eligibility.
- For Special Qualifying Events (i.e. new baby, marriage/divorce, loss of coverage), you have 60 days from the date of the event to submit your benefits enrollment forms.
- Even if you are eligible for benefits but choose not to enroll, please complete the Enrollment/Change form and slect 'Refuse.' Also, please complete the Beneficiary forms. The University provides a basic term life policy to all employees. See the Basic Life Insurance Handbook below for details.
