For information on New Student Orientation Sessions, please contact orientation@tnstate.edu or Office of Admissions.

Orientation dates are avaliable for admitted students that have "Accepted Admissions". Registration is quickly filling up and we want to ensure that you have a date selected by May 15th, 2024. Orientation is a one date event for students and guest. Therefore, with travel, time, and date in mind, please select your date according to your major that aligns in your academic college. 

Note: Your orientation date is tailored to your major which is housed in your academic college. Each orientation session will have a total of four colleges that will onboard their students along with an experience that will help you and your family learn more about your future college home.

*Below you will see how each of our dates and colleges are breaking out for your consideration as you begin to make confirmations and reservations for our Fall 2024 Orientation Experience.*

Each Freshman Orientation session begins promptly at 10am and will end at 3pm. 

July 17th - College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, & College of Public Service 

July 18th - College of Business, College of Engineering, College of Liberal Arts, & College of Public Service 

July 22nd - College of Life and Physical Sciences, College of Agriculture, College of Education, & College of Health Sciences 

July 23rd - College of Life and Physical Sciences, College of Agriculture, College of Education, & College of Health Sciences
