Current Responsibilities:
- Assist Department Head
- Assist with performing everyday tasks necessary for the efficient running of the department
- Manage 5 grants with 10 subprojects and State account
- Supervise secretaries & work study student
- Train faculty and staff to use SIS (Student Information System) & Banner Sciquest
- Make sure supplies and other materials needed for classroom and labs are available
- Assist with the hiring of employees (staff)
- Submit job posting through Banner System
- Serve as liaison between Biology and other Departments and Divisions
- Assist with problem solving between faculty, staff, students and departments
- Perform payroll duties
- Make sure bills are submitted for payment to accounts payable
- Reconcile accounts for year-end closeout
