About the Tennessee State University College of Agriculture
With a proud 110-year history, the Tennessee State University College of Agriculture advances the university’s land-grant mission through teaching, research, Extension and service. The college offers two undergraduate degrees with multiple concentrations, four master’s degree programs and one Ph.D. program, preparing students for leadership in agriculture, environmental sciences, human sciences and related fields. Its impact is strengthened by 37 state-of-the-art research laboratories and three working research farms, including one located on the university’s campus in Nashville. Through innovation, hands-on learning and community engagement, the College of Agriculture continues to serve Tennessee and shape the future of food, agriculture and the environment.
