Cataloging Department
The mission of the Cataloging Department is to develop and maintain a unified catalog of the holdings of the Tennessee State University Libraries and Media Centers. We provide thorough, accurate, and timely bibliographic identification of items in the collection. The Department helps make library resources discoverable to our faculty, staff, students, and community members by adhering to standard classification schemes and local priorities.SERVICES
- Processes New Books and Media list, which is updated monthly with the latest additions to the library.
- Manages inventory control of print and microfilm collections.
- Processes discarded materials
