What is the TSU Staff Senate?
The Tennessee State University Staff Senate is a deliberative, representative body consisting of support staff employees established to promote communication between staff employees and the administration. The Staff Senate is comprised of elected senators from the various divisions at Tennessee State University.
Membership in the TSU Staff Senate is open to permanent, full-time, part-time and non-faculty, non-probationary support staff employees. Senators are elected to serve a term of one year. Senate officers are elected to serve a term of two years. The Staff Senate meets monthly during the academic year.
