The Dr. Levi Watkins, Jr. Institute Scholarship

The Dr. Levi Watkins program was established in honor of the University's most distingished graduate Dr. Levi Watkins, Jr. He later became an outstanding physican who later became a heart surgeon. To learn more about this program, please click here. 

"MNPS Trailblazing to TSU" Scholarship

Tennessee State University announced 100 Metro Nashville Public Schools students will be awarded scholarships in four (4) high demand content areas in the College of Business, Education, Engineering, and Health Sciences. MNPS/TSU partnership began in Fall 2023.

To be considered for a MNPS Trailblazing to TSU scholarship:

  • Must be a graduating senior from 12 of the Metro Nashville Public Schools
  • Antioch High School, Cane Ridge High School, Glencliff High School, Hillsboro High School, Lawson High School (formerly know as) Hillwood, Maplewood High School, McGavock High School, Overton High School, Pearl Cohn High School, Stratford High School and Whites Creek High School
  • Must have a 20 (or higher) composite score on the ACT/1030-1050 SAT

International Tuition Assistance Grant (ITAG)

International Tuition Assistance Grant, I-TAG for short, is a grant for our international students who will joining our instituition specifically for undergraduates students only. However, it is not guaranteed every international student will receive this grant.
