The Purpose Behind the Dinner
Will You Invest?
Without access to scholarship support, a significant number of TSU students will have to delay or deny their desire to earn the undergraduate degree that will be their only pathway to a meaningful career or attaining a graduate or professional school degree.
Consider investing in a student and their future by establishing a scholarship. You can set up an endowed or annual scholarship in the name(s) of your choice.
NAMED SCHOLARSHIPS
Endowed - $25,000 and above
- Outright gift or pledge with documented agreement and initial gift (3 yrs to reach minimum)
- Scholarship will exist in perpetuity (Legacy gift)
- Donor establishes criteria to guide the selection of scholarship recipients
- Tax-deductible gift to the TSU Foundation
- Opportunity to meet student recipient at the annual Scholarship Appreciation Reception
- Recognition in the TSU Foundation Annual Report
Annual/Non-Endowed - $5,000 and above
- Outright gift
- Donor’s employer/company matching gift can be used to reach minimum
- Donor establishes criteria to guide the selection of scholarship recipients
- Funds can be awarded immediately
- Tax-deductible gift to the TSU Foundation
- Opportunity to meet student recipient at the annual Scholarship Appreciation Reception
- Recognition in the TSU Foundation Annual Report
