Biography:
Dr. Patrick C. Clinton is originally from rural central Louisiana. He is a filmmaker, predominantly working as a Director, Producer, Writer, & Cinematographer, but over the years he has worked in almost all areas of the filmmaking process. He is best known for his award winning films such as the feature films Last Getaway and The Inherited and the short films “Daddy’s Little Girl” and “R,” but he has worked in a variety of capacities in countless narrative and documentary productions. Dr. Clinton has taught at the college level since 2001, teaching courses that range from Cinematography, Lighting, Producing, and Directing to Screenwriting, Film History, and Film Theory. He began his current role of Assistant Professor of Film/TV Production at Tennessee State University in August of 2019.
