One of the greatest barriers to obtaining a college education is cost. At TSU, more than eighty percent of our students receive assistance in financing their education. The staff in the "One Stop Shop" at the Avon Williams Campus helps students in obtaining the best financial package to pay for their education. The staff has a wealth of knowledge about grants, loans, scholarships, and work opportunities. The Geier Nontraditional Scholarship is also available for students who are at least 25 years of age and who live in the Metropolitian Nashville Statistical Area. For students who graduate from select community colleges, we also provide a tuition reduction program. This program helps to defray the already low cost of attending the university.
