Membership & Fee Information
Requirements
All new members must meet the criteria of the selected status of:
- Alumni
- Retiree
- Adjunct Professor
- Part-time Employee
- Spouse of current Tennessee State University student, faculty, or staff
- Pre-approved by the director/coordinator
All alumni members must meet criteria of alumni status at Tennessee State University, meaning all candidates must be actual graduates from the university. Candidates who attended the Tennessee State University but did not obtain a degree from the university do not qualify for membership. Proof of alumni status will be required at the time of application. Candidates may bring a copy of their TSU degree or an official transcript that can be obtained from the TSU records office.
Retirees, adjunct professors, part-time employees, and spouses of current Tennessee State University student, faculty, or staff will also be required to show proof of University affiliation at the time of application.
**A valid form of picture ID must be shown every time upon entering the Wellness Center.
New member hours for utilizing the Wellness Center are restricted to 6:00am-7:00pm Monday-Thursday. However, members may utilize the facility on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the regularly scheduled hours of operation.
Fee Schedule
The membership fee is $30.00 per month.
There will be no pro-rated payment allowed.
Fees will only be accepted the 1st-28th of each month for services the following month.
How to Apply
1. Submit membership form and fee to Ralph H. Boston Wellness Center. Payment options can be in the form of cash, check, or money order. Make checks payable to Tennessee State University.
2. Complete Statement of Health Status form. (A physicians statement may be required in order to participate in Wellness Center Activities.)
