Volunteer at the Clinic

Want to Contribute in a Unique Way?

Treating a patient

At the clinic, you'll find unique ways to use your skills.

The Tiger Community Rehabilitation Clinic is unable to function without the support of licensed physical and occupational therapy volunteers. For every half day a therapist volunteers, we are able to add 4 community members in need to our schedule. We are always looking for volunteer clinical instructors to oversee, guide, and treat in our clinic.  Additionally, clinical volunteers can earn continuing education credit for their volunteer time.  Every four hour shift in the clinic will earn 0.25 CEU's, with a maximum amount of 10.0 CEU's annually.  CEU certificates will be sent out in May, but may be requested at any time as needed for licencing requirements.

HOW TO SIGN-UP TO VOLUNTEER

If you would like to volunteer, please email one of our Clinical Instructor Coordinators and they can assist you.  You will be asked to complete the Tennessee State University Volunteer form, and the coordinator will get your license information so that you'll be able to access our Electronic Medical Record when you work in the clinic.  Our Clinical Instructor Coordinators should be able to answer any questions you may have as well.  We look forward to seeing you in the Tiger Clinic!!
