University Wide Research Symposium 2016
Poster Session
I. Requirement
It is imperative that participants adhere to the guidelines and procedures described
below.
II. Poster Size
Each project is allotted space on a professional poster board that is backed with fabric and the space will only accommodate a 42” x 42” poster. A smaller poster may be acceptable, but a poster which is larger than the size of the 42” x 42” presentation space provided will not hang properly and will be difficult to read. No exceptions can be made, so plan accordingly.
III. Poster Setup
- Monday, April 4, 2016, 10:00 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.
- Posters must be on display by 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 5th.
- Posters are to remain on display until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016.
IV. Competition and Poster Judging
- All student posters, graduate and undergraduate, are part of the competition.
- Posters will be judged for organization and creativity, organization of content, technical procedures employed (when applicable), oral delivery, knowledge of material, clarity of artwork (charts, graphs, images), appearance of poster, and overall presentation. - Judging for Graduate posters: Thursday, April 7, 2016. 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- Judging for Undergraduate posters: Thursday, April 7, 2016. 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Presenters must be present at the designated judging period in order to be judged and to be considered eligible for the competition.
All posters must be removed by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016. RSP will not be responsible for any posters left after 4:00 P.M.
