  • Dr. James Holland is a USDA Professor in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences at North Carolina State University who currently specializes in maize breeding and genetics. He also serves as associate editor of the peer-reviewed open access mega journal titled G3: Genes, Genomes, Genetics.
  • Dr. Jessica Barb is an assistant research scientist in the Departments of Crop and Soil Sciences & Plant Biology at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She is currently leading a trait discovery program focused on improving yield and hybrid seed production in sunflower. In addition, she is leading a small grains breeding program focused on developing sustainable varieties for forage and grain usages in the Southeast United States.
  • Dr. Karen Garrett is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Agronomy at Iowa State University
