P.A.S.S. Tutoring supports academic achievement by offering live, drop-in tutoring to currently enrolled undergraduate students. Students can connect with a live tutor and get private, one-on-one tutoring in real time. Faculty offer tutoring in primarily General Education core courses. All P.A.S.S. Tutoring is currently offered remotely.  Most P.A.S.S. Tutoring begins at or after 4:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. on weekdays.  Limited tutoring is also available on Saturdays in some subjects from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Hours vary for all courses, depending on the tutor’s schedule.

Each P.A.S.S. tutor has a unique Zoom meeting I.D. that students can join for tutoring.  The P.A.S.S. tutoring schedule is posted on the eLearn page for enrolled students.  This schedule will indicate the name of the P.A.S.S. tutor; courses offered for tutoring; days; times; and zoom I.D. for each tutor. Students are asked to complete an evaluation for each session attended.

The primary source of tutoring for upper-division students is  TutorMe , an online tutoring platform.  Students have 24 hours a day, seven days a week, access to tutoring offered in more than 300 subjects.  The link for TutorMe is located on the eLearn page for each undergraduate.  Users access TutorMe by entering their TSU username and password.  Students receive three free hours of tutoring weekly.

A pilot program is currently available to students enrolled in specific Biology, English, and Math classes.  Additional online tutoring, Tutor.com , is provided to support the following classes:

Biological Sciences 1020; 1120, 2220
English  1010; 1020; 1022
Mathematics 1013; 1110; 1710

The link for Tutor.com  is located on the eLearn page for undergraduate students enrolled in the courses listed above.
