Traditional BSN

If you are a student who feels called to the profession of nursing, then our traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is the place for you. At TSU, you will receive a nursing education within an excellence-driven, liberal arts framework. Our expert faculty, state-of-the-art technology and excellent clinical experiences will prepare you for success in an ever-changing healthcare environment.


The traditional BSN degree typically takes eight semesters (four years) to complete. Students take a core curriculum of courses (65 hours) shared by most TSU students, then an additional 64 hours in nursing coursework. Graduates are prepared for entry into the profession of nursing as generalists or for graduate-level nursing education. Holistic & Collaborative

Students learn how to provide holistic, ethical and culturally sensitive care to clients across the lifespan.


Strong/Effective leadership qualities will also be developed through participation in professional and community-based collaborative projects.
