Modern Campus CMS Training
Hello New Web Editors!
You should now have access to your respective areas in Modern Campus CMS.
Will you please….
- go to the homepage for your dept/website,
- scroll to the bottom,
- click the “Last Modified” link
…and see if you can login to your page?
While you’re on your homepage, please do this quick edit:
- press the little green edit button (the 3rd one to edit the whole-of-the-page),
- just go to the bottom of the webpage and type a period or something (to see if you can make edits and save & publish them),
- save the page (upper left),
- and then publish it.
Then view your web page in a browser & see if you see your period.
Then, you can go edit the page again (by pressing the big green “Edit” button)….and then the little green edit button……and take the period off of the page. Save & Publish again.
Then, check the web page again to see if you truly removed it. (be sure to refresh your browser screen when you check.)
And remember the following site which has OU Guide on it: www.tnstate.edu/web .
REMEMBER:
You can’t click the “Last Modified” link and access Modern Campus CMS unless you are on a webpage that you have access to. So with that being the case, you can’t access Modern Campus CMS from the TSU homepage’s “Last Modified” link. You’d want to go to your webpage first…..and click the “Last Modified” link on it.
Thanks so much!
