Student-run Television
TSU-TV 98 is the on-campus television station of Tennessee State University. TSU-TV 98 has been developed, produced and is operated by the students of Tennessee State University, primarily in the Communications Department, a part of the TSU College of Arts and Sciences. TSU-TV 98 is seen in the dorms and other buildings of Tennessee State University, located on the west side of Nashville, Tennessee
TSU-TV News 98
TSU-TV News 98 is part of the TSU News Network, the student-run media operations of Tennessee State University. TSU-TV News 98 airs live on the campus cable system Wednesdays at 5 p.m. through the Fall and Spring school semesters. This television newscast is reported, anchored, produced and directed by students. TSU-TV News 98 is broadcast from the TSU-TV 98 Studios, located in the Performing Arts Building on campus.
TSU-TV News 98 students work in a state of the art studio with two sets and a multi-level digital control room. Students can edit digital video using Avid or Final Cut Pro video edit applications. A faculty advisor oversees content and production.
OTHER PROGRAMS
- "Eye Of The Tiger" is a talk show format program produced by the TSU Forensics Team.
- "The Presidential Address" is an interview program with TSU President Melvin Johnson where students' questions for administrations are answered and TSU Administrators are able to share news and information with students.
- "OVCenter" is a sports highlight show featuring all the action from the TSU Tigers and the rest of the Ohio Valley Conference.
- "Next In Line" is a music showcase featuring live performances and a live audience. Look forward to more of this exciting new program in the coming semesters.
