TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES' GUIDE FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
Graduate students are expected to be able to recognize when information is needed to make decisions or to conduct scholarly research, to locate, evaluate, and effectively and ethically use the specialized information to become independent lifelong learners. We will work with you and guide you through various print and electronic resources, information retrieval strategies, and information management techniques.
We strongly urge you to take advantage of our orientation and bibliographic instruction services via Graduate Student Seminars or individual consultations with reference librarians. You may fill out the online Library Research Seminar Form or call (615) 963-5201 or e-mail Mr. Fletcher Moon at fmoon@tnstate.edu. First session will introduce you to services and resources available, and the sessions after that will include search strategies, citing resources correctly and other related topics.
