Strengthening Urban Communities | Influencing Policy

The Urban Community Research Center (UCRC) is an applied research center that focuses on addressing the needs, problems and solutions that arise in urban areas like the growing city of Nashville.  Students and faculty work alongside governmental offices, community-based organizations, and other research institutions.

OUR MISSION The Center’s mission is to build partnerships with community and non-profit organizations and municipal leaders in order to develop and evaluate solutions that address social and economic inequities in urban areas.
