OVERVIEW:


The goal of the research thrust is to develop virtual and augmented reality (VAR) technologies to enhance visualization projects in networking, network security, and virtual prototyping. Research projects will focus on VAR technologies which will aid in better understanding of network connectivity in a cloud, enhance the ability to analyze and visualize protocol behavior, detect anomalous traffic and improve the virtual prototyping capabilities. The facilities will consist of Desktop-based VR and AR technologies, including HMDs, cybergloves, virtual wall, etc, to facilitate hands-on experimentation and project work related to advanced scientific visualization.
