The first and only program in the state of Tennessee, the Undergraduate Program in Bioinformatics at Tennessee State University offers unique interdisciplinary training and research in computer science, biological sciences, mathematics, engineering, and ethics of today's fast-paced world.

- BIOL 1110/1111 General Biology I and Lab
- COMP 2140 Programming I
- COMP 3112/3113 Introduction to Bioinformatics
- COMP 3710 Relational Databases
- BIOL 4110/4111 Molecular Genetics and Lab
- COMP 4820 Introduction to Bioinformatics Computing
- Senior Project must be in the area of Bioinformatics for Computer Science major.
