Dave Isaacs

Over the past twenty years Dave Isaacs has earned himself a reputation as a world-class musician, a talented composer and songwriter, and an inventive and engaging teacher. He has released seven independent CDs and performed in hundreds of venues across the eastern and central US.

Dave joined the faculty of Tennessee State University in the spring of 2009, and currently teaches applied guitar, recording studio classes, and coaches ensembles in the Commercial Music program as well as serving as the Music Department webmaster and coordinating the annual TSU Guitar Summit.

He is a regular instructor at the annual Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Songposium seminar, and a regular contributor to numerous online music and songwriting e-magazines and blogs. He also maintains a private teaching studio on Nashville's Music Row, specializing in building musical and performance skills for songwriters and developing artists.
