Graduate student assistantship

This M.S. assistantship in Agricultural Sciences is available for a prospective graduate student interested in working in the area of agricultural communications and will be co-advised by Dr. Jason de Koff and Dr. Alyssa Rockers. In addition to research, the student will engage in working with a team to promote programs within the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SARE) (https://southern.sare.org/). This will include the following:

Coordinate and attend SARE training programs with the team.
Work with the content providers (faculty, private sector, 1862 partner, government, NGOs, and farmers) and SARE leadership to develop effective programs.
Engage in program evaluation and necessary proposals and reports.
Assist with designing educational and training materials, in a variety of formats, for sustainable programs
Design marketing materials for Southern SARE and Tennessee Southern SARE programs
Maintain the Tennessee SARE website and regularly post to Tennessee SARE social media platforms
