Password Reset

STEP 1 – RETRIEVE YOUR "T NUMBER" (TSU ID#) AND TEMPORARY PASSWORDS

NOTE:  If you are not an on-campus student, you must call 615.963.7777 for your initial password setup.

• Visit www.tnstate.edu/mytsu and click "Retrieve Username & T-Number".
• Enter your personal information and click "Submit".
  
  Your temporary passwords for TSU systems will be displayed.

• Note the temporary password & use it to register your account below.

STEP 2 - REGISTER YOUR ACCOUNT

If you're a first-time user at TSU you must register your account. 

Sign in to "Edit my Password Profile" below with your temporary TSU Windows username and password and register answers to three security questions.

RULES FOR SECURITY ANSWERS:

-Do not use commonly known information for your answers.
-Answers are space and punctuation sensitive.
-Use unique answers for each question.

After registering your account (editing your profile), use your temporary password to make a new password:

RESET PASSWORD
(Used for Windows, Live Mail, Network, Wireless, and eLearn)

NOTE: If you've never set your Password Profile, you must do that first before you can unlock your account.  Perform "Edit my Password Profile" below first.

• First create and answer three security questions - Edit my Password Profile
  
  
• If you know your password, but need to change it – Change my Password
  
  
• If you forgot your password and have previously registered security answers – Reset my Password
  
  
• If you are locked out your account due to invalid log-ins - Unlock my Account
