Parking and Permit Information
Students, faculty, staff and visitors who park a vehicle on campus must register for and display a parking permit. Any vehicle without proper registration or not displaying a current permit is subject to receive a citation.
REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE
Students, faculty and staff who will park on campus must register their vehicle and obtain a parking permit. The parking permit must be properly displayed on the front rear view mirror of the vehicle. Please click the link to the right to register your vehicle.
HOW TO REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE
What you will need:
- Internet access
- Your TSU username and password
- Have available your license plate number and vehicle registration form as you will need the make, model and color of the vehicle to register
Vehicle registration and parking permits renewal are available beginning August 18, 2014. The cost of one parking permit for students are included in the student tuition fees. Employee parking permit is $65.55 for general permits and $163.88 for reserved permits. Note: Reserve parking spaces are limited. Please contact the Parking Services office for availability and if desired, to be added to the waitlist.
DISABLED PARKING PERMITS
The University requires all students, faculty or staff who have a state-issued handicap permit to obtain a Tennessee State University issued handicap parking permit. Both permits must be properly displayed when parking on campus.
Students applying for handicap parking permit must first register with the Office of Disability Services and bring a copy of their handicap placard, disability permit registration form, vehicle registration form and driver's license when picking up your University-issued handicap parking permit. Contact the Office of Disability Services at 963-7400 for additional information.
Faculty and staff applying for a handicap parking permit must bring a their actual handicap placard, handicap permit registration form, vehicle registration form and driver's license when picking up your University-issued handicap parking permit.
