The African Students Association (A.S.A.)  at Tennessee State University is guided by a deep sense of commitment and cultural heritage which promote the interest and cooperation among students, faculty and staff. We are dedicated to promoting cultural heritage and encouraging diversity as unity in diversity.

 Here at A.S.A, we provide opportunities for cultural interactions, diverse events, and academic advancements. For more than three years, our association have continued a tradition of excellence that has brought international recognition to our academic program, our university, and community. We continue to carry out our mission of exposing students to cultural knowledge as way to create leadership and success in the global market place and establishing personal growth.

 We are proud of our HBCU legacy and the century of excellence that has defined Tennessee State University. Come and Join us the African Students Association as we continue to leave a legacy here at the Tennessee State University, the Think. Work. Serve. Institution.
