Why major in Computer Science?

 Some of these reasons are as follows:

  1. It is estimated that more than one million new jobs in the Information Technology areas will be generated in the next decade.
  2. Our lives are intermingled with computers. You may be walking while carrying at least two mini computers along. These computers are your digital watch and your cellular phone.
  3. At the heart of study of computer science studies lay the art and science of problem solving and algorithm development. An algorithm is a document that contains a precise solution for a problem. It is said that the computer science is all science. When you major in computer science, you are bound to enhance your problem solving capabilities.
