The main computing components consist of the software that are installed on computers in different computer labs. Some of these software are listed below.

  • MS Visual Studio .NET. This package contains compilers for major programming languages. Some of the languages are Visual Basic, C, C++ and C#.         
  • C# (C Sharp) is the programming language that is used for teaching programming courses in the CS core courses.
  • Compilers for other programming languages, such as COBOL, FORTRAN, and PASCAL are also available.
  • Sun Microsystems java programming language
