Welcome to the New TSU Freshman Class!

The housing application for Fall 2024 First-Time Freshmen opened on February 1, 2024!
 
The housing application for Spring 2025 for First-Time Freshmen will open on November 1, 2024!
(Current residents DO NOT need to apply for Spring housing - your license agreement is for Fall AND Spring if you currently reside on campus)
 
 
  1. Be officially admitted into the University and have a myTSU log-in username and password (You will not have access to the housing application if not officially admitted.)
  2. Complete the Immunization Requirements (Incomplete Immunizations records will prevent you from receiving an assignment! We recommend immunization records be submitted by May 1, 2024 to avoid delays in processing your application.)
  3. Complete All Steps of the Housing Application
    • Step 1: Application Preferences
    • Step 2: Sign your Housing Agreement (Contract)
    • Step 3: Pay your $100 non-refundable prepayment online
  4. Sign up for, and attend an Orientation Session through the Office of First-year Students (Full-time registration (12+ credit hours) is required to live on campus)

The Housing Applications for Fall 2024 Continuing Students  opens on March 1, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.
Rising Seniors (72+ Hours) have EARLY ACCESS to apply for housing beginning on Thursday, February 29, 2024! 
 
 

Steps to Apply for On Campus Housing:

1. Log in to your myTSU Student Account

2. Click on the "Banner Services" tab.

3. Click on "Student"

4. Click on "Housing"

5. Go to RMS Student Web for Housing.

The housing application for Fall 2024 Transfer/Re-Admitted students opens on March 1, 2024 at 8:00am.
 

The housing application for Fall 2024 Transfer/Re-Admitted students opens on November 1, 2024. 
(Current residents DO NOT need to apply for Spring housing - your license agreement is for Fall AND Spring if you currently reside on campus)
 
 In order to be eligible to apply and move-in to your assignment you must:
  1. Be officially admitted into the University

Additional Forms for On-campus Residents
Cancellations:
  • Housing Agreement Cancellation Form- For students wishing to cancel their current housing agreement.  Housing Cancellation Requests can be submitted from the MyTSU Housing Portal
  • Email Cancellation Request- You may also cancel by emailing your cancellation request to reslife@tnstate.edu. Be sure to include your full name, T Number, and requsted term of cancellation (fall, spring, summer, etc.) in your request. 

Hall Transfer Requests:

  • The Hall Transfer Request Period opens on September 1 and February 1 of each year in the myTSU Housing Portal.
