At this time, Tennessee State University
require its students to live on-campus at any point of their academic career. In recent years, the University has consistently reached capacity of its on-campus facilities, forcing students who have delayed in submitting their housing application and deposits, to reside elsewhere.

Due to increased enrollment and overall demand for housing at

, the Department of Residence Life has closed the Regular Housing Application process for both New and Returning Students as of July 31, 2014. While “Waiting List” applications are currently available (please contact Central Office at 615-963-5361 to request a paper application) we understand that many students may be seeking alternate arrangements for housing accommodations.
