Received NSF SFS Grant for Smartphone Security Education and Training, April 2013

Dr. Shetty was the recipient of the 2013 Research Mentorship award for serving as the advisor to the greatest number of winning student research entries during the 35th Annual University-Wide Research Symposium at Tennessee State University.

Four students (Kimberly Gold, Manu Misra, Husam Adas, and Heather Housel) from the CyberViz lab won prizes at the 35th Annual University-Wide Research Symposium at Tennessee State University.

A paper entitled "Security Risk Assessment of Cloud Carrier" accepted in 2013 IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Cluster, Cloud and Grid Computing (CCGrid)

New Boeing and AFRL contracts received for cyber physical system and smartphone security projects, Nov 2012

Heather Housel and Cornel Zlibut won first and second place prizes at the 122nd meeting of the Tennessee Academy of Science . Heather and Cornel's undergraduate research is supported by DHS Scientific Leadership Award grant.

An invited talk entitled "IP Geolocation for locating data in cloud data centers" deilvered at AFRL, Rome, July 2012.

Sai Kiran's dissertation research entitled "Mining Concept drifting Network traffic in cloud computing environments" accepted as a poster in CCGRID 2012.

A collaborative cloud security project entitled "Heterogeneous VM Replication: A New Approach to Intrusion Detection, Active Response, and Recovery in Cloud Data Centers" is funded by ARO, February 2011.
