Charles D. McCurry

Assistant Professor

Charles D. McCurry joined Tennessee State University as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department in 2015. From 2011 - 2015, He worked as a system and control engineering consultant employed by Booz Allen Hamilton with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).  His academic research interest which correlated with his work at AFRL involve the areas of Human and Machine Teaming, Cyber-Human Systems, Human and System Integration, Data Fusion, Decision-Making Architectures, Control and Intelligent Control Systems, Machine Learning and Artificial  Intelligence Applications, and System Engineering Design. He is certified as an Associated System Engineering Professional (ASEP) by the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and on the INCOSE Huntsville Regional Chapter, Board of Directors as the academic adviser. He is adviser for the INCOSE student division; IEEE and Eta Kappa Nu student chapters; and Rho Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
